Jewels in the Rough
No cuts, no script. Jewels in the Rough is a space where my thoughts exist in two forms: written and spoken. I’m both a writer and a talker—it’s how I process life.
With writing, the first rough draft—sometimes even the second or third—is often the purest, most authentic version. Perfect? No. But that’s not the goal. The goal is honesty. And that’s exactly what this space is about. The writing and audio aren’t meant to be identical—they’re two sides of the same story. I’ve had moments where I’ve read a piece and wanted to dive deeper, to hear more than what was on the page. Well... now you have that. Some thoughts are best written, others are best spoken, and here, you get both. Raw, unfiltered, and deeply personal.
Life itself is like a rough draft. We’re always evolving, always in progress. And while I’ve spent so much time wanting to present my best, most polished self, this space is different. Here, I just am. As real as I can be.
There are gems everywhere—sometimes in the lessons we least expect, the places we stumble upon, or the knowledge we collect along the way. And I want to share those gems with you.
This podcast is about becoming—the best artist, advocate, and entrepreneur I can be. The highs, the in-between phases, the messy middle.
Why listen? Because maybe you see yourself in my story. Maybe you’re also figuring it out as you go, learning to trust yourself again, unlearning everything that told you who you should be.
This isn’t about having the answers—it’s about asking the right questions. From self-discovery to pop culture, fashion to psychology, creativity to the existential crisis of being alive in 2025...we’re talking about it all.
